I’ve worn glasses for about 15 years and am very active and busy. I hate looking for, carrying and cleaning glasses and cannot wear in certain sports activities i.e. surfing, swimming etc.

Dr. Michael Levin my eye doctor suggested Dr. Caster’s surgery. Dr. Levin had the procedure as Dr. Caster had. Several others I know had it as well. The reports were all overwhelmingly positive as so I booked the surgery. I was fully informed, pre operation preparation was smooth and reassuring. The procedure was very quick and practically painless. – I was sedated just enough before and after so I could still function but had almost no discomfort. My vision is 10 times better already and should be perfect when the swelling goes down – I whole hearted recommend the surgery and definitely recommend Dr. Caster to do it. Thanks a million.

I have been wearing glasses for 23 years. This is now the day after the LASIK procedure and I still can’t quite believe that I can actually see without corrective lenses. It is absolutely amazing! The surgery was very quick, simple, and painless. Recover time was so short that I was expecting more discomfort and obscured vision beyond the actual recovery period. I experienced no pain at any point during or following the surgery. I don’t think I really needed the pain pill Dr. Caster gave me immediately following the surgery. I didn’t think I needed the valium prior to the surgery either, but my wife would disagree.

I’m amazed at how quickly I regained such good vision following the procedure. I still get confused whether I have my contacts on. I’m hoping for ever more improvements as the weeks and months go by.

Overall I found the LASIK procedure to be quite simple and non-invasive. Having had eye surgery to remove pterygiums 20 years ago which involved a shot in the eye and scalpels, I found this procedure to be very simple and straightforward. I chose the Caster Eye Center over my own ophthalmologist based on their entire presentation…the courtesy, professionalism, and thoroughness of the entire staff is extraordinary. Prior to having the procedure I was given all the facts to make an informed decision; both the dangers inherent in the procedure as well as the benefits were thoroughly examined. I highly recommend Dr. Caster to anyone contemplating LASIK surgery.

The procedure was painless, a little scary waiting to have it done. The office assistants are very friendly and comforting, and reassuring. The results the day after the procedure are quite amazing. I have 20/20 vision.

I’m amazed! The procedure was a snap – no pain, no discomfort, no anxiety (except, maybe – my own perfectionist anxiety during the “task” of staring at a red light without moving). Thrilled is an understatement. And I can’t believe that my vision is so clear just the next day – without any hint that I had surgery.
