The LASIK surgery has been the best thing to ever happen to me because it enabled me to get rid of my contacts which gave me so much trouble. This is very important to me because I play basketball and thus my vision without glasses is very important. I would definitely recommend this procedure to anyone. It is quick and painless, plus very successful. Dr. Caster has my utmost gratitude.

Prior to my operation, I used contact lenses, reading glasses and regular glasses with accompanying sun glasses. I was very frustrated and inconvenienced everyday by needing all of the above – taking glasses off and on constantly depending on if I were reading or needing to see distance or needing sunglasses. After the surgery I only need reading glasses and my vision was corrected to 20/20. Considering all the time and money spent with optometrists and buying various types of glasses, this surgery makes a lot of sense. In addition, the short time actually in surgery with the quick recovery make this surgery appealing. Also the staff and Dr. Caster are extremely professional, thorough and caring!

The surgery made a significant difference in my life. Now I can see the world without glasses or contacts. (and my mother is relieved it happened without any complications!)

I have heard that it takes 21 days to break a habit. It has been almost 2 months since my LASIK procedure and I am still reaching for my glasses in the morning. It is the greatest feeling not to be dependent on glasses or contacts. No more extra glasses to carry around, no more contact supplies, no more cleaning and disinfecting every night, no more hassle putting them in the morning! I am very happy with the results and the care I received form Dr. Caster and his staff. They are the best! The saying “Seeing is Believing” has really come to life for me.

I have worn glasses since the 8th grade, and always felt they were a burden. I couldn’t wear hard contacts, when they came out with soft lenses I was able to tolerate them. Being very active in water sports I have to be careful not to loose lenses in the water. Also in my work there is a lot of dust, so my lenses are always dirty. After learning about Dr. Caster from my doctor and one of his patients I felt it was something for me to try. The day of the procedure I was nervous, but it was over quickly, with minimum pain. The next day my vision was amazing. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to see without glasses or contacts.

Seeing again is like being “born again.” Everything is new, bright and clear. I am starting to realize how I and most people take sight for granted.

As a secondary symptom, I no longer suffer from attacks of sneezing in the morning! My allergies have improved by about 95%. I contribute this to the fact that I no longer have irritated eyes that need constant attention.

I would also like to complement the staff…everyone was kind, courteous, helpful and enthusiastic. This was a nice experience, since one, no longer runs into such pleasant situations in today’s world; especially in my field!
