Care and procedure very good. Everyone more than caring and friendly. To be highly recommended.

My experience with Dr. Caster, and his staff was wonderful. Everyone was very helpful and patient, as well as talented and experienced.

Having worn glasses and contacts since 5th grade. I couldn’t believe that it was possible to see without them. My surgery went superb, with 20/25 results in one eye after 24 hours and 20/30 results in the other. At day four, I am already at 20/20 in my right eye, and my left eye is still getting sharper ( As of today- Its only been 24 hours since my left eye surgery – since I did one on Monday and the other eye on Thursday).

This experience will change my life. It’s so nice to wake up in the middle of the night and see the alarm clock, as well as being able to go swimming or do any water activity without worrying.

As far as the procedure goes – no pain, no discomfort – just 4 – 6 minutes in a chair with several qualified, wonderful doctors and staff there to walk you through this miracle of a procedure.

As would be anyone, I was nervous. But that’s normal. When I felt no pain and no discomfort, I was floored. Then the next day – I drove myself to my follow up appointment and I was reading license plates easily. I couldn’t believe it.

I would recommend Dr. Caster with the highest regard. His expertise, combined with his down to earth, caring personality, made me feel that I was in the best care. Thank You Dr. Caster.

Having been in need of glasses and contacts all my life, I was jealous of those with “perfect vision”. When I heard about the LASIK procedure, I knew it was something I wanted to do. I was nervous, however, about “going blind” or having some scarring or “ghosting” to my vision after the procedure. What made me ultimately decide was listening to a man who had it done himself. He described waking up the morning after the surgery and seeing perfectly. His happiness and joy were infectious. The procedure was not painful. A slight discomfort during the operation was only about 20 seconds in duration, and the technicians were making jokes and creating a comfortable, yet professional atmosphere. Afterward, I took a pain pill, but didn’t really need it. My excitement at seeing 60% better immediately following the procedure made me forget any discomfort or apprehension!

For 15 years, I have been in contacts and/or glasses. In the early years, I had to get insurance for my contacts because available, they helped with the calcium buildup, but didn’t fully correct my vision due to my astigmatism.

With the LASIK procedure, I can finally see without the hassle of contacts. It accommodates to my active lifestyle. I fully recommend it.

I have heard that it takes 21 days to break a habit. It has been almost 2 months since my LASIK procedure and I am still reaching for my glasses in the morning. It is the greatest feeling not to be dependent on glasses or contacts. No more extra glasses to carry around, no more contact supplies, no more cleaning and disinfecting every night, no more hassle putting them in the morning! I am very happy with the results and the care I received from Dr. Caster and his staff. They are the best! The saying “Seeing is Believing” has really come to life for me.

LASIK eye surgery is absolutely unbelievable! It truly is a miracle of modern medical science.

Except for the numbing eye drops, I experienced no pain at all before, during or after the procedure. Isn’t it ironic that the only part of the whole process that causes any pain at all is the anesthesia, which holds they eyelid open during surgery, and from the pressure of the microkeratome on the eye during the flap-cutting part.

I was amazed that I could see just fine as soon as I got up from the table, and the next morning my vision was even better. It has improved since then, and now I see as well without any corrective lenses as I used to with my glasses.

Even with the miraculous new devices and procedures, contemplating eye surgery could still pretty scary. But your extensive knowledge and training, your experience and consistently outstanding results, and your confidence and calming bedside manner made the whole process a snap.

I would recommend this procedure, and your office, to all my friends and family members. As a matter of fact, I already have, and as you know many of them have already had the surgery, with the same great results I had.

Less than a week has gone by since I had the LASIK procedure performed and I could not be more pleased. I’ll admit to being a little nervous for a few minutes before and during the procedure – but for no reason. Everything has gone so smoothly – the procedure and the nonexistent recovery period. My vision seems to be even sharper then the 20/20 it was tested at the morning after the procedure. I love the fact that I was able to work and exercise the following day without any disruption to my schedule. Family, friends and co-workers are amazed, highly interested and a little envious. The book and video are in heavy loan rotation.

The one difficult thing about the LASIK procedure has been finding an adequate way to express how fantastic the change is. I find myself continually telling people, “it’s so cool” which probably is not the optimal description coming from a 36 year old professional. There is something crisper about my vision which I am not able to articulate precisely. I’m noticing detail in the hills around my house I haven’t noticed before. My eyes are already a great deal more comfortable than they were at the end of a day wearing contacts. Freeing up cabinet space in the bathroom where the contact solutions used to be was a real bonus. Strangely, receiving the license amendment saying corrective lenses are no longer required for driving was a proud moment.

Having the LASIK procedure performed is analogous to freeing myself of a defect I’ve been struggling with all my life.

Unbelievable – everyone should do it, if they can.

The operation was amazingly pain free and my recovery after 24 hours has been very easy. I would reduce the darvon to avoid grogginess.
