As a journalist, research is an important and frequent part of my work. Prior to having the procedure, I spent countless hours researching my options and the various doctors in my area. I would like to thank Dr. Caster for this miracle he has accomplished. It truly is the best decision you could ever make. Dr. Caster’s caring, professional and excellent staff really help make this experience worthwhile. I was very nearsighted and had very little astigmatism. I wouldn’t be able to drive, read, or even look at people’s faces. I would get bad headaches and eyestrains. I feel like I was in my own world. There was nothing I could do to stop this but rely on my glasses or contact lenses. Now I am 20/20 and my weak left eye is 20/15. I can rely on myself now. The way I always wanted it to be since I was 9 years old.

I feel like I’m 17 yrs old again. That’s how long it’s been since I wore glasses or contacts. This morning when I woke up I could see all the detail in my garden. Every leaf and flower. It’s a great sense of freedom to be able to see and leave the house without contacts or glasses. Great job guys! Thanks.

From the first conversation I had with Patricia here at the Eye Center, I felt comfortable entrusting my eyes to Dr. Caster and his staff. One month ago I had the LASIK procedure on both eyes and today I tested at 20/10 with both eyes. I had prepared myself for fluctuations/deviations but have had none as of yet; only a great freeing experience. For this I am thankful.

I am very pleased with the whole process- I woke up this morning and could see the small alarm clock from across the room. I am highly amazed- it did not hurt. The whole procedure in the operating room only took 8 minutes (less than 1 minute each eye)!
