If I Can Do LASIK Then Anybody Can! I am a certified tennis coach and mother who loves being active and pushing myself to my physical limits. But I have always been scared to death to tamper with my eyes. I was nearsighted in both eyes with astigmatism. I tried to correct my vision by learning to use contact lenses, but I was afraid to put the lenses in my eyes. Glasses were a nuisance and I hated the way I looked in them.
