It’s been about 3 years since my procedure and everything’s been working out really great. I had really poor vision. I was on the upper end of what Dr. Caster was able to treat and he told me all of what to expect and then the procedure far exceeded those expectations. I have great vision now and I’ve been coming back every year to get my vision checked and it’s been wonderful. Compared to normal hospital stays, this is just a different experience and everything is so prompt. When I had gotten LASIK, I had been wearing glasses for almost 30 years and it was a hassle every year with having to keep up with glasses and getting contacts. I play a lot of sports like wrestling and my contacts would sometimes fall out and I would have to put them back in! I got tired of doing that so that was kind of the last push. I’d tell people that under the right care, with Dr. Caster walking you through everything, has been a great choice for me. If you are ever considering LASIK at least come in for a consultation and have them go over everything with you. Initially when I first came, they walked me through the facility and gave me a lot of assurance. I went to other consultations and Dr. Caster’s office is the only place where I didn’t feel like I was being rushed in and out. Speedy wasn’t my biggest concern. It was safety and making sure that I would have the best chance of having perfect vision. That’s why Caster Eye Center really stood out to me with that.
